
In this workshop, our volunteers will help you learn more about the maritime occupations that once existed in Finistère. Notably, this will be an opportunity for you to truly appreciate the harsh living conditions seafarers had to contend with at the time, as well as the numerous techniques they used to tie marine knots (such as splicing). Moreover, our volunteers will gladly talk you through the wealth of old tools kept at the museum (compasses, fog horns, anchors, navigation and fishing instruments…), as well as the many popular traditions that surrounded this unique way of life in centuries pas
